With baby number three on the way sometime in July, Jenna Bush Hager is in full-on nesting mode, starting with tidying up her 3-year-old daughter Poppy's closet. The queen of tidying up, Marie Kondo, helped Jenna sort all of Poppy's things, let go of those clothes that didn't spark joy, and then walked the toddler through her new closet when she got home from school.
Jenna was most interested with Marie's famous fold. "Can your 3-year-old fold the way you can?" Jenna asked, and Marie shared that her daughter can, and does indeed love folding. "I need help!" Jenna told Marie. "Poppy is wonderful, but she's not a folder."
Once they got down to business and started laying out all of Poppy's things, like most people, it was a bit tough for Jenna to let some of the items go. "It's hard, because I think a lot of the joy when you look at little kids' clothes is the nostalgia of seeing them in it," Jenna said. "But I don't think it fits her anymore, so I think I have to say goodbye and thank you."
And even though Jenna and Poppy are happy with the results, the person who made out the most from this clear-out is Hoda Kotb, who's getting all of the hand-me-downs for her 2-year-old daughter Haley Joy (and eventually, when she's out of her onesies, baby Hope!). Seeing as Jenna is having a baby boy, we're sure those adorable clothes will serve the Kotb girls well.
