If you've ever torn through a carton of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, simply looking for the chunks of doughy goodness, Ben & Jerry's has some news that'll make you smile. The ice cream manufacturer is now selling "just the dough" from its most popular ice cream flavor in bite-size, snackable pieces. Cookie dough diehards can pick from either Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Vegan Chocolate Chip, or traditional Chocolate Chip flavors that are made with pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour - perfectly safe to eat raw.
After being tested out in limited quantities for customers at Vermont Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops, the bites are now available at participating retailers and scoop shops nationwide for $5 a bag.
