Thanks to advances in technology, movies are now able to be re-imagined as realistically as possible. In the fantasy, action and sci-fi genres, we are now able to experience by sight what used to only be written in books or brought to life in movies using props and makeup. Take JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit published in 1937 for example. The movie series for this book finally appeared in 2012 with the help of computer-generated imagery.
