Barack Obama sure knows how to tug at heartstrings. The former president recently shared an eloquent and lovely birthday message for Michelle Obama's 55th birthday on Jan. 17. "I knew it way back then and I'm absolutely convinced of it today - you're one of a kind," Barack wrote, alongside an old picture of himself and the former first lady.
Though she's no longer in the White House, Michelle seemed to be busy as ever this past year, as she promoted her well-received memoir Becoming on a nationwide book tour. That's in addition to her many other speaking events, launching the Global Girls Alliance, and encouraging Americans to vote in midterm elections. Hopefully her birthday offers Michelle some time to kick up her feet and relax a little!
