My daughter is on the cusp of becoming a teenager. She's at the age where she still thinks I'm kind of cool, but I also get many eye-rolls thrown my way throughout the day. It's not always easy raising a tween daughter, but she's taught me so many valuable life lessons in the past few years - many of which I didn't necessarily think I had to learn - that I'm so grateful for. She inspires me to be a better person and a better mom every day, and her new age brings us challenges that I know we'll work through together. She's an inspiring little girl, and I promise I'm not just saying that because she's my daughter (OK, maybe a little, but I know my fellow moms understand). Here are some pieces of wisdom I've learned from parenting a tween.
