Victoria Beckham's Here to Get You Suited and Booted For Fall

There aren't many designers who can get us up early on a Sunday morning, but Victoria Beckham isn't your average London Fashion Week designer. For years she showed in New York, so now the designer is back on her home turf, her shows are a hot ticket, and it's easy to see why. Victoria has made a name for herself showing grown-up, understated, stylish clothes that women really want to wear, and her Fall 2019 collection was no exception.

Sticking to her tried-and-true favorite, the midi, Victoria's collection had a slight 1930s feel, with the designer explaining "she's proper but she's definitely not prim." Models strutted in high-necked bias-cut dresses and skirts with gentle flippy hems, atop what are sure to become the boots of the season: either slouched in leather, or skintight sock boots, both with peep toes and sky-high heels. On top, they wore slim blouses with exaggerated collars under tight-fitting knitwear, or single-breasted blazers in tweed or block colors. Coats met those midi hemlines, with slashed cutouts and slits that revealed sleeves and showed off linings.

You'll be copying the chic chain print, the tweeds, and the rule-breaking color schemes, from the lavender-and-red set to the neon tweed to the rich tomato and tan that threaded their way through the whole collection. And when it comes to accessories, if you don't fall for the boots, maybe the neon heels will catch your eye, or the chunky shoulder bags that sit snugly on the hip?
