Two mothers sent their toddlers to day care as usual, but they're not happy about what they discovered after picking them up. The children's unibrows had been waxed without permission, and the moms don't even know what to think. "I got a closer look and I saw she was missing her patch of hair because she has a unibrow and she was born like that," Alyssa Salgado, mother of toddler Lilayiah, told KEPR in Pasco, WA. Another mom named Glenda Maria Cruz, whose son goes to the same day care, claims her son's unibrow was also waxed the same day. Both mothers have removed their children from the day care.
KEPR reports that the day care released a statement, saying, "The Boys and Girls Club takes these allegations seriously and will work to support the investigation process." Watch the ABC 7's full clip above to hear what the moms had to say.
