Taylor Swift sat down on The Tonight Show on Thursday likely expecting to engage in some witty banter about her recent album, Lover, her upcoming SNL performance, or even her role in the CGI nightmare big screen Cats adaptation. Instead, Jimmy decided to debut a video exclusive for his audience that left the "You Need to Calm Down" singer anything but calm. (We, however, can't stop laughing. Sorry, Tay.)
As we see in the video, which was recorded by Taylor's mom Andrea earlier this year following the 29-year-old's Lasik eye surgery, Taylor is still very much under the influence of whatever loopy anesthesia drugs she got from her doctor. Rocking a bulky pair of goggles (that look taped to her face, lol), Taylor begins to cry while trying to choose the right banana to eat for a snack, and then sasses her mom while trying to stay awake long enough to eat it ("I'm not asleep, my mind is alive!"). It's . . . well, it's definitely something!
