Pablo Picasso painted portraits of his wife, Russian ballet dancer Olga Khokhlova for 17 years. In the beginning of their story, the artist drew Olga in a realistic manner, but closer to the end of their relationship, Picasso started using his surreal style, so it is hard to understand that the portraits that were made later actually depict the same woman.
