Skechers just announced that it's rereleasing its iconic Roadies Sneaker, and my '90s-fashion-loving heart feels like it just got thrown into a time machine. Dad sneakers were all the rage for the last year, and, given the resurgence of popular '90s fashion trends, it's no wonder that Roadies are officially making a comeback.
Originally introduced back in 1994, the chunky platform sneakers are being brought back over two decades later in four classic colors: red, navy blue, black, and white. The style also features the brand's classic "S" logo from the original release, and would probably pair perfectly with a flowy day dress or a pair of mom jeans.
Skechers Roadies are available online at Skechers.com, as well as at select Skechers storefront locations across the country, where they're retailing for $60 a pair. The shoes will roll out globally at a later date. It's only a matter of time before we're all dressing like it's 1994 again, so you may want to go ahead and add a pair (or two) of these to your closet before it's too late.
