Lego has been on a roll in 2019 with all of its new sets - the Steamboat Willie set being a real standout - but its newest Star Wars set might just be one of its coolest yet.
A couple of years ago, Lego released the Lego Boost Creative Toolbox, which was hands-down one of the best STEM toys of 2017. Now, the brand is expanding the line with the Star Wars Boost Droid Commander Set. Similar to the Creative Toolbox, the set will work with the visual programming Lego Boost app to teach kids to code - but this time, they'll be building droids: R2-D2, a Gonk Droid, and a Mouse Droid.
The 1,177-piece set gives your child everything they need to build each of the three droids, and through the app, they can discover each one's personalities and abilities. Ahead, learn more and get a peek at the new Lego Star Wars Boost Droid Commander set, which will be available Sept. 1 (just in time for the new movie!).
