With each passing week our favorite shows are wrapping up, but we're also getting news about renewals and cancellations for next season. While shows like Showtime's Shameless will be back for another round, others like Netflix's One Day at a Time have gotten the ax. Luckily The CW announced a TON of renewals for their hit series, including Riverdale and The Flash, and Hulu has also renewed a bunch of their new comedies. - Light as a Feather: Unlike many of the characters in this AwesomenessTV thriller starring Liana Liberato, the show will live to see a second season.
- Runaways: The Marvel series has been renewed for a third season.
- Shrill: Aidy Bryant's brilliant comedy will see a second season of awkward run-ins, body acceptance, and hopefully a better romance for Annie Easton.
- PEN15: Ready to go back to seventh grade? The freshman comedy has been renewed for season two.
- Ramy: Actor and comedian Ramy Youssef's hilarious series about a Muslim-American family navigating life in their politically divided New Jersey neighborhood is coming back for season two.
USA Network
- Suits: The series has been renewed for a ninth and final season, which will air sometime in 2019.
Syfy
- The Magicians: The series, which is based on Lev Grossman's book of the same name, has been renewed for a fifth season.
Fox
- So You Think You Can Dance: The dancing competition has been renewed for season 16.
- The Masked Singer: The hit new show has been granted a second season.
Netflix
- Grace and Frankie: The show starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin has been renewed for season six.
- The Kominsky Method: The comedy, which stars Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin, will return for season two.
- Fuller House: The Full House spinoff will return for its fifth and final season this Fall.
- Sex Education: After a successful first season, the series will return for season two.
- Umbrella Academy: After leaving fans with a dazzling cliffhanger in season one, the freshman Netflix series has been renewed for season two.

- Ellen's Game of Games: The game show will return for a third season.
- New Amsterdam: The medical drama will return for season two.
- Chicago Fire: The squad of Chicago Firehouse 51 will return for season eight.
- Chicago Med: The medical drama has officially been renewed for season five.
- Chicago P.D.: The series will be back for its seventh season.
- Brooklyn Nine-Nine: After making the move from Fox to NBC late last year, the series has been picked up for season seven.

- The First: The series starring Sean Penn will not return for a second season.

- Channel Zero: After four seasons, the anthology series has been canceled.

- Trial & Error: The series has been canceled after two seasons.
Netflix
- Travelers: The series starring Eric McCormack has been canceled after three seasons.
- Friends From College: The dark comedy has two seasons under its belt but won't get a third.
- Jessica Jones: Despite a strong fanbase and positive critical reception, the Marvel series has been canceled (the upcoming third season will be its last).
- The Punisher: Not long after its second season premiered, it was announced that Netflix has pulled the plug on the show, which was Marvel's last TV series on the streaming giant.
- One Day at a Time: The series has been canceled after three seasons.
- Santa Clarita Diet: The zombie comedy starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant was laid to rest shortly after the release of its third season.
