When Tatyana Kuvshinnikova, a teacher from Barnaul, Russia, posted her photo in social media, she couldn’t even imagine that it would ruin her career at a local school. One of the student’s parents saw this photo online and complained to the school principal who decided that it was “a spot on the reputation of the school.” By the way, this photo was taken to support Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk, Russia because Tatyana is a member and activist of The Altay Federation of Winter Swimming. Tatyana’s colleagues decided to support her. They started the flash mob, “Teachers Are Human Beings Too” (#учителятожелюди) and they have been posting their own photos in swimsuits and sharing their opinions on the situation.
