Melissa Dawson, a 32-year-old mom from Dunellen, NJ, recently had quite the experience when she was forced to give birth by herself in her bedroom after going into labor. And the craziest part of it all? The birth was caught on her nanny cam.
"You have no control over your body. This baby is gonna come, and there's nothing you can do about it," she told CBS News, adding that, "It's the most panic-driven experience I've ever had."
Once she realized what was happening, Melissa called her husband, Gregg, who was out running errands with their other daughter. But unfortunately for the frantic mama, Gregg was too late. Thankfully, he called 911, and soon enough, paramedics were breaking the lock to get in to help Melissa.
"She literally bungee-jumped out of me, lands on the floor," said Melissa, who quickly wrapped up her newborn daughter - who she named Bria Belle - in sheets and took a selfie to prove what happened. Now, the Dawsons are adjusting to life with their new bundle of joy, who clearly couldn't wait to meet them!
