After Brands Said She Was "Too Big," Designers Are Offering to Dress Bebe Rexha at the Grammys

Earlier this week, Bebe Rexha got honest about an all-too-common issue in the fashion industry. The 29-year-old singer revealed via social media that, in her search for the perfect dress to wear to the upcoming Grammy Awards, many designers have refused to dress her because of her size. Bebe, who is a size eight, sounded off about the situation in a video that has since gone viral on Instagram and Twitter.

"You're saying all the women in the world that are a size eight and up are not beautiful and that they cannot wear your dresses," she said, addressing the unnamed designers. "So, to all the people who said I'm thick and I can't wear your dress, f*ck you. I don't want to wear your f*cking dresses."

Unsurprisingly, it didn't take long for the Grammy nominee to receive a ton of support from fans, fellow celebrities, and a handful of designers who even chimed in and offered to make her custom gowns for the Grammys and beyond. Christian Siriano, who dressed Leslie Jones when she dealt with a similar issue, threw his hat into the ring, mentioning on Twitter that he's dressed Bebe before and "would love to do it again."

The Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik also gave the singer a recommendation of her own, tagging stylist Adena Rohatiner in the process. "@adenarohatiner has no problem dressing my size 8 ass," she tweeted. "I'm sure she'd love to hear from you. Sending you a size 8 hug." Bebe hasn't updated her followers on who she's chosen to make her dress for the night just yet, but given her red carpet history, we're sure she'll look stunning regardless.
