Way back in the middle of 2017, Netfix surprised us all by announcing a prequel series to The Dark Crystal, Jim Henson's iconic 1982 film. Called The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, the show will be set "many years" before the events of the original film, following three Gelflings who "discover the horrifying secret behind the Skeksis's power" and "set out on an epic journey to ignite the fires of rebellion and save their world." This week, Netflix truly blew us away by revealing the incredible cast, which features 20 of today's biggest stars. Mark Hamill! Taron Egerton! Andy Samberg!
