In 2001, a teacher from Wales told her students that Santa Claus is a fictional character. These disappointed kids told their parents and they sued the teacher, who was fired shortly after. Various interesting cases of being fired happen pretty often and a bunch of posts on social media prove it. For example, on August 14th, famous comedian and late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon started a thread #WhyIGotFired where many people have already posted their funny stories.
