It's been almost 23 years since Selena's death and her legend continues to reach new heights. She was finally honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017, her family released a well-sought-after MAC Collection in 2016, and there are even more things in the works. Now, Selena's family is back with a new surprise for her fans, so let the countdown begin!
On March 2 at 9 a.m., the Texas grocery store H-E-B will be selling a limited-edition reusable bag with Selena's face on it. The bag will be available in stores and starting at noon on heb.com; it will also be available through H-E-B Curbside and home delivery via hebtoyou.com, according to the Caller Times. H-E-B posted a video on Facebook featuring Selena's sister, Suzette Quintanilla-Arriaga, where it revealed part of the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Coastal Bend.
The bag features two black and white images of the singer with pink accents. On one, you have a close-up shot of Selena singing, while the other shows her smiling with the words "Queen of Cumbia" in beautiful pink letters. "Throughout the years, we've always wanted to work together to do something and so we finally came up with something to give back to Selena's fans and benefit the Selena Foundation," Suzette said. Set your timers and have that $2 ready, because it's totally worth it to have this keepsake forever.
