Winona Ryder already made a comeback: her performance as Joyce Byers on Stranger Things is worth any afternoon of binge-watching on Netflix. That said, the '90s icon is keeping her seat warm in Hollywood's royal circle by taking on the job as the newest L'Oréal Paris haircare ambassador. After all, every It girl these days has a beauty endorsement deal.
Though it was just announced on Friday, Jan. 5 that Winona is working with L'Oréal, POPSUGAR has an exclusive look at the first campaign video - before it airs on TV during the Golden Globes on Sunday Jan. 7. And the video is gorgeous!
In it, Winona is getting ready to take the stage. She is wearing a beautiful black gown, perhaps a nod to this movement. Women of Hollywood are reportedly wearing all-black looks to the Golden Globes as a symbol of protest against sexual harassment in the industry. Also, her hair is styled in glossy glam waves that we get to ogle from every angle.
The kicker at the end of the video reads: "Everyone deserves a comeback." This is both a nod to Winona's career and L'Oréal Paris's Elvive line, which helps refresh heat-damaged hair. The line is said to work after just one use, making the drugstore price tags an even sweeter deal.
Here's to the beauty and Hollywood industry supporting the 46 year-old star! Winona Forever!
