While in Davos, Switzerland, for the World Economic Forum, President Donald Trump took the opportunity to sit down for an interview with host of Good Morning Britain and former Celebrity Apprentice winner Piers Morgan for his first international TV interview since taking office. Morgan wasted no time in asking Trump about an incident last year in which the POTUS shared videos from a far-right British anti-Muslim party.
". . . I didn't do it, I didn't go out, I did a retweet. It was a big story where you are, but it was not a big story where I am," Trump said. "Here's what's fair, if you're telling me they're horrible racist people, I would certainly apologize if you would like me to do that. I know nothing about them."
The retweets caused British Prime Minister Theresa May to put out a statement saying, "It is wrong for the president to have done this," which Trump later responded to on Twitter, as he is wont to do.
.@Theresa_May, don't focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom. We are doing just fine!

The internet went ablaze, with even Piers himself asking Trump to "stop this madness." Above, watch the video in full to witness Trump's so-called apology.
